As Fresh as the Driven Snows

The moon is waxing gibbous at 86.5% in Gemini. There is no void moon today, and Mars is in retrograde.

Snow day! There’s about two inches of snow on the ground, and it keeps coming down. Yesterday (though I forgot to mention this), my boss cleared me to speak with my roommate about having her do some graphic design work for our company. This is very exciting, as she is a very capable designer, and I like her work.

Today, I feel energized and ready to take on the world.

Today’s Card Pull

The Wands suit is generally related to ambition, enterprise, and risk-taking. It represents concepts like initiative and a drive to succeed.

This card shows four staves planted in the ground, adorned with laurels. A couple is in the background, waving bouquets of greenery in front of a gate, clearly celebrating something like a new endeavor. Another couple can be seen farther back, potentially about to join the celebration.

The Four of Wands represents two people coming together to achieve something great. This card embodies the concept that “Teamwork makes the dream work.” When we work together, we can accomplish amazing things. The Four of Wands can also represent a startup, something small that will grow into a great undertaking so long as the founders find synergy.

This card’s relevance to me is obvious. I am working at a fresh, new startup and building its marketing department from the ground up. I am on track to achieving my career goals, and most days, I wake up feeling a sense of initiative and drive. Lately, I feel a sense of “new beginnings,” as shown here with a new blog on top of my new career.

I believe this also relates to what I said earlier about potentially hiring my roommate. If we can work together, we can create something fabulous, compelling, and successful.
