The moon was in Taurus but transitioned to Gemini 40 minutes ago. It is in its first quarter at 82.4%. Mars is still in retrograde. There was a void moon from 5:49 to 8:06 p.m.
Well, I tried. That’s all I can say. I tried.
Today just got away from me. I woke up late, I didn’t sleep well, and it was go-go-go all over again today. Who knew that a job could keep one so busy? Oh, well.
I dreamed that my dad was dating Kim Cattrall from the 80s. She was really mean to me and kept telling me I was a failure for not being an executive by 44. It was very stressful.
Also, everyone was wearing too much makeup and hairspray. And perms… Perms everywhere.
Today’s Card Pull

The Wands suit is that of ambition, drive, and career-mindedness. When reversed, it indicates inner turmoil.
The card depicts five people, each bearing a stave, which are all misaligned. They do not seem to be battling each other, but rather, they are simply in each other’s way. The large wands are unwieldy and difficult to handle, particularly in such close quarters.
Upright, the Five of Wands represents struggles caused by competitiveness and being overly ambitious. Reversed, that meaning is expanded. Efforts to create a team have failed, and one must rely on oneself for leadership and motivation.
Today, I had a meeting where I was screening a potential developer for our team, and I had to rely on my own senses to determine whether it would be a good fit. The reason I met with him was due to a failure on my current developer, as he has not come through with the project on time. I am outsourcing this project, and that is causing friction. I feel like my designer and developer aren’t contributing, and I am having difficulty bonding with them and leading them to success.
Today, I spoke with my boss about replacing both of them. We are engaging competing consultants, possibly for a better dollar figure and definitely for higher quality work.
I took today’s challenges in stride, and I look forward to engaging these forces tomorrow.
Wands seems to be coming up a lot. I guess it’s due to the new job.
